What moves could propel the Minnesota Vikings back into the postseason this year?

Following their win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings are now sitting with a 2-5 record.

Most would assume the Vikings are already at the point where they should be making moves that impact their future rather than their current team. But with this season’s trade deadline coming on Tuesday, Minnesota has to quickly decide if they’re still going to make a run at the playoffs or not.

If the Vikings do actually believe they are still capable of winning enough games to get back into the postseason this year, then it’s possible that they could look to acquire a player at a position of need before Tuesday’s trade deadline.

Minnesota currently has around $4.5 million in cap space, so they’ve got some wiggle room if there’s a player they have their eyes on. The Vikings have always found a way to manipulate the salary cap in order to get a deal done, so that shouldn’t be a worry.

So if Minnesota is still making decisions to help their playoff chances this season, who are a few guys from around the NFL that they could look to add before the trade deadline?
