Minnesota will score another victory over Detroit

Two weeks ago, this team was left for dead with a 1-5 record. While nobody should be starting to make playoff plans, the Vikings seem to be a team that found itself last week in Green Bay. That being said, it wouldn’t be surprising if they started to ride that momentum over the next month.

That sets the stage for what should be a victory over Detroit on Sunday. The Lions come in banged up, potentially down their starting quarterback, and a coach that should be on the hot seat.

Even with the addition of Everson Griffen, the Vikings should have enough on offense to take advantage of Detroit and put up an adequate offensive effort.

Viking fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for this team long term, but on Sunday, they should be able to come away with a victory.

Prediction: Vikings 27, Detroit 14
