Where do the Minnesota Vikings rank after upsetting the Green Bay Packers in Week 8?

One of the biggest upsets of Week 8 came when the Minnesota Vikings visited Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers in a game where the green and gold were heavy favorites over a one-win squad.

The Vikings took the fight to the Packers on the ground, countering a windy Wisconsin day that impacted throws and kicks on Sunday. The returning Dalvin Cook had a career day for Minnesota, scoring four touchdowns.

Still, Minnesota’s victory against Green Bay only puts the Vikings at two wins for the season and some of those losses were embarrassing outcomes, making it tough to know if Minnesota is actually a good team that suffered some bad losses or a bad team that capitalized on a fluke game.

Experts are tasked each week with putting together their power rankings to see how teams rank among other squads in the NFL and it has to be expected that the Vikings will improve upon their position. But the question is how much they will elevate heading into Week 9 against the Detroit Lions?
