Which Minnesota Vikings players will keep the 2020 season interesting?
As any Minnesota Vikings fan will know, it’s the hope that kills you.
Just when it seemed as if the Vikings’ 2020 season was going to spiral on a downward curve, they came back after their bye week with a sensational win over the Green Bay Packers. Considering their level of performance through six games, for them to come up with such a drastic turnaround in the fortunes was absolutely extraordinary.
Further proof, if any was needed, that you can never count a Mike Zimmer team out.
And just like that, there is renewed hope that Minnesota can mount an unlikely postseason push with more playoff spots up for grabs this season. With the Lions, Bears, Cowboys, Panthers, and Jaguars all coming up in their immediate future. There is every chance the Vikings can generate some serious momentum heading into the closing stages of the campaign.
If they could somehow make the playoffs, it would arguably be the biggest turnaround in franchise history. A 1-5 start had the doom and gloom merchants arguing their case in a bid to try and acquire Clemson’s stud quarterback Trevor Lawrence in the 2021 NFL Draft, but Zimmer and the Vikings were always going to be far too proud for this eventuality.
The next nine games should be extremely intriguing, to say the least. Here are four Vikings players who will ensure that the 2020 season will remain interesting.
