Justin Jefferson – WR

Justin Jefferson has been nothing short of phenomenal this season. The wide receiver has taken to life at the next level immensely well and the Minnesota Vikings undoubtedly have a star on their hands if he makes further strides in the coming years.

Minnesota moved quickly to take Jefferson in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The former LSU standout thrived during the Tigers’ dominant campaign that ended with a National Championship and this confidence is something that’s stood him in excellent stead at the next level.

Trading away Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills was a bold move from the Vikings. But Jefferson’s level of production has ensured they haven’t missed the diva wideout too much.

Jefferson’s 90.2 grade from Pro Football Focus is a further reflection on what an extraordinary start he’s made to his career in Minnesota. His 31 receptions, 531 receiving yards, and three touchdowns are way more than everyone on the outside looking in expected. But whether he can keep this up with more attention coming his way between now and the end of the campaign remains to be seen.

This will be another interesting element to keep a close eye on and could get the Vikings back in the playoff talk.
