There were good and bad things from the Minnesota Vikings game against the Lions in Week 9.
On Sunday, Nov. 8, the Minnesota Vikings took on the Detroit Lions in a game that put two teams hoping to stay relevant in the NFL went head-to-head at U.S. Bank Stadium nine weeks into the 2020 NFL season.
The Vikings were coming off a big upset win over the Green Bay Packers while the Lions got throttled by the Indianapolis Colts. At 3-4, Detroit was ranked above 2-5 Minnesota heading into Week 9.
The game was a hard-fought, competitive contest as most NFC North games are, with the Vikings ending up controlling the tempo of the game as well as the trenches to come away with a 34-20 victory.
