The Minnesota Vikings put together their best performance of the season in Week 9.
After handing the Green Bay Packers a loss last week, the Minnesota Vikings pulled off their second-straight win against an NFC North rival by beating the Detroit Lions in Week 9. Dalvin Cook once again stole the show, rushing for over 200 yards and putting the game on ice.
Minnesota’s offense played up to its potential, which we have seen on a few occasions this year already. Defensively, the Vikings made life difficult for Matthew Stafford and company. Minnesota put up an all-around great performance against Detroit.
Irv Smith Jr. and Eric Wilson finally earned their respect again after being regulars on the unsung heroes list as well. The players who are expected to make an impact are finally beginning to do so with consistency while the inexperienced guys are showing improvement as they get more reps.
