After beating the Detroit Lions in Week 9, the Minnesota Vikings climb in NFL power rankings.

There was a time when it looked like the Minnesota Vikings would be regulated to the basement of the national NFL power rankings. Their offense couldn’t move the ball and the defense struggled to keep opponents out of the end zone.

Now, after Week 9, some experts are wondering if the purple and gold can return from the grave to grab a playoff spot in the new expanded formats this year. The Vikings are on the right track, especially after beating the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions in the last two weeks.
