The Minnesota Vikings have the talent to win every game left on their schedule.

No one gave the Minnesota Vikings a chance when they went into Lambeau Field two weeks ago and handed the Green Bay Packers a big fat loss. Some even thought the Vikings might fall flat against the Detroit Lions in Week 9 and that turned out to be a funny joke.

Minnesota is 2-0 since their bye in Week 7 and they’ve come out of their time off looking like the team some believed they could be prior to the start of the season.

Unfortunately, the Vikings’ poor start to the year could end up costing them a spot in the playoffs. With a current record of 3-5, Minnesota likely has to win at least six of their final eight games to earn a postseason berth.

While this seems like a tall task, the Vikings don’t have a ton of quality opponents left on their schedule as five of their remaining eight matchups this season will be against teams that currently have a losing record.

So does Minnesota have what it takes to go on a magical run and earn one of the seven playoff spots up for grabs in the NFC this year? The Vikings certainly have the talent and there are a number of reasons why they should have a chance to earn a victory in each of the final eight games left on their schedule.
