3 teams that could sign former Minnesota Vikings lineman Pat Elflein
By Adam Carlson
Chicago Bears
It stinks to see players who leave the Minnesota Vikings end up with a team in the same division, but it shouldn’t be too surprising if it is the Chicago Bears who end up signing Pat Elflein of claiming him off waivers.
The offensive struggles of the Bears are well documented. Their rushing attack is dead last in the NFL with 82.3 yards per game and 29th in yards per rushing attempt with 3.7 yards per attempt. Those numbers are terrible.
Chicago needs help in a major way and they would be wise to bring in Pat Elflein. Not only can he play guard or center if needed, but if he doesn’t end up starting within a few weeks of his arrival, he will be excellent depth for them.
The Bears are still second in the NFC North and their 5-4 record keeps them in contention for a playoff spot. If they can put together an efficient offense to pair with their strong defense, they could be a real threat going forward.
Which team do you think will be the team to acquire former Minnesota Vikings offensive lineman Pat Elflein? Will it be one of these three teams? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
