Todd Davis – LB

Following the season-ending injury to Anthony Barr in Week 2, the Vikings brought in Todd Davis to help improve the team’s depth at linebacker.

Before he ended up in Minnesota, Davis was a member of the starting defense for the Denver Broncos. From 2016 to 2019, he started in 59 games and accumulated 427 tackles, including 134 last season.

So far this year, Davis hasn’t made much of an impact for the Vikings. He’s appeared in four matchups for Minnesota this season and he’s only racked up a total of six tackles.

Combine the fact that Davis has missed the Vikings’ last two games after reportedly testing positive for the COVID-19 virus and his tenure in purple and gold isn’t going that great.

With Minnesota already having to figure out if they will re-sign Eric Wilson and if they will keep Barr around in 2021, Davis likely won’t be returning to the Twin Cities next year.
