5 Bold Predictions: Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears – Week 10
By Chris Schad
Cousins will save the day for the Vikings
This will not be for the faint of heart, but Kirk Cousins could be the key between a big victory for the Vikings or another painful loss in Chicago.
As we mentioned earlier, Minnesota may not have the same ease establishing the run as they have during their past two games. This will leave the burden on the shoulders of Cousins, who seems to be scared of the Monday night lights.
Despite his 0-9 record, some of those losses have occurred when Cousins has been put in a bad situation. Even though Cousins’ trademark grimace has made an appearance on Monday nights, he’s been playing well enough that his efficiency should be able to carry the Vikings even if Dalvin Cook has a rough night.
Cousins isn’t going to put up 500 yards and three touchdowns, but he should have a solid evening. If he can do his job and limit mistakes, Minnesota should have a good chance at picking up the victory on Monday.
