Minnesota will get a rare win in Chicago

It’s amazing what a couple of wins can do. Just two weeks ago, tanking for Trevor Lawrence was a thing that Vikings fans were tossing out and now, the fan base seems poised for a playoff push. That will happen when your next six opponents have combined to lose 22 straight games prior to Sunday’s action.

But against the Bears, this feels like a team that Minnesota matches up well against. Yes, the Chicago defense is still a problem and if they were matched up with the Vikings offense every week, they could be one of the best teams in the NFC. The problem is, they’re not.

When looking at the Bears, the biggest question is how they’re going to score. Minnesota can find a way to make that happen, but the Nick Foles to Anthony Miller connection doesn’t exactly strike fear into anyone’s heart and with no running game to speak of, it will be Foles’ arm that has to lead Chicago to victory.

In the end, this feels like a game the Vikings should win, even at Soldier Field. That’s usually spelled doom, but we’ll say Minnesota takes another step closer to .500.

Prediction: Vikings 23, Bears 10
