The Best

Kirk Cousins has to be the happiest guy in the NFL tonight. There were so many narratives about tonight’s game that cast him in a negative light and have to be in the back of his mind when he takes the field.

So, Cousins had never beaten the Chicago Bears. Well, that happened. Kirk had never won on Monday Night Football. That streak has come to an end. Those burdens have to feel great coming off his shoulders.

His play on Monday was great as well. He is credited for an interception that isn’t his fault, but he completed 25 of his 36 pass attempts for 292 yards and two touchdowns. Both scores went to Adam Thielen, who was having a bit of an off day at times.

It was so nice to see him command the offense and not make mistakes. While his day wasn’t perfect, he did what needed to be done against a tough Bears offense that was holding Dalvin Cook in check for the entire game.
