Defensive MVP

Eric Wilson – LB

If you are a fan who uses the “eye test” to figure out who had a good game, odds are that there were numerous times your peepers were dead-set on Eric Wilson since he was such an absolute playmaker against the Bears.

Wilson led the Vikings in tackles, bringing down seven ball-carriers on the night. Five of those tackles were solo efforts and two of them resulted in a loss of yards for Chicago, making his tackling even more eye-opening.

When dropping back into coverage, Wilson was effective as well. He helped out the purple and gold defenders in a big way by closing off opposing receivers and even defending one of the pass attempts thrown his way.

The linebacker also had an impact as a pass rusher. He registered one quarterback hit to go with everything else he did on the night, making him an obvious choice to be named the Vikings MVP from Week 10.

Who do you think was the MVP on offense or defense for the Vikings during their game against the Bears on Monday night in Week 10? And who else deserved to be considered? Let us know your opinion in the comments!
