Offensive Unsung Hero in Week 10:

Kirk Cousins – QB

A quarterback may not be a player many would consider being an unsung hero because he touches the ball every single play. However, Kirk Cousins put up a remarkable performance in Week 10 and got his first-career win on “Monday Night Football”. That narrative is finally coming to an end, which is great news for Cousins and the Vikings.

Kirk completed 25 of his 36 pass attempts for 292 yards, two touchdowns, and a flukey interception that was not his fault. He let Dalvin Cook control the game and he hit his guys when the offense needed a big play. Seven different Minnesota players hauled in at least one reception on Monday and Kyle Rudolph was a big part of the offense for the first time all season.

Cousins did a remarkable job of spreading the ball around and not making any mistakes. He hit Rudolph on the Vikings’ final offensive drive of the night to convert the first down and help chew some clock.

The 2020 season has been full of ups and downs for Cousins, but he has done a solid job during these last few weeks.

If he can keep up his current performance, Cousins can lead the Vikings back into the playoffs this season.
