Minnesota will get a “Primetime Purple” victory over Dallas

Before we go on, let’s just talk about the Vikings’ uniforms for Sunday. The team has announced they’ll be wearing their “Primetime Purple” jerseys this week and while some long for the days of Bud Grant and the yellow and purple stripes of the 1970s away uniforms (bring these back, Vikings), the purple jerseys with the gold font are a solid look for a big game.

Of course, if you look good, you play good.

The jerseys won’t have anything to do with the beating Minnesota will lay on Dallas, however. Although there are some big names for the Cowboys on paper, the Vikings should be able to take care of business at home and pick up another big victory to bring them within a game of the final playoff spot in the NFC.
