Minnesota’s veterans know what it takes
It wasn’t too long ago that the Vikings were just one game away from playing in the Super Bowl. Minnesota came close back during the 2017 season and a number of players from that team are still on the roster this year.
Guys like Adam Thielen, Kyle Rudolph, Riley Reiff, Eric Kendricks, C.J. Ham, Anthony Harris, Jaleel Johnson, and Eric Wilson were all a part of the Vikings roster during their magical run in 2017.
These players were not only with the 2017 team that made it to the NFC Championship, but all of them were with Minnesota last season when they made it to the divisional round of the playoffs as well.
A bunch of what the Vikings have been doing well during the last few weeks are things that worked for them last year and in 2017. In both of these seasons that resulted in a trip to the playoffs, Minnesota relied heavily on their offensive rushing attack and a solid defense.
The Vikings have plenty of players on their current roster that can take what they learned during their past playoff experience and share it with some of the younger guys on the team to help them learn what it takes to earn a spot in the postseason.
