Which Minnesota Vikings players were the most disappointing in Week 11?

Heading into Week 11, the Minnesota Vikings were favorites at home against the 2-7 Dallas Cowboys. Despite the odds in their favor, the Vikings found a way to lose as the Cowboys were a much more physical team, and their defense buckled down late when it mattered.

This was a very disappointing loss for Minnesota. Their slim playoff hopes clung to this game and now, while they are mathematically still alive, the reality is that they probably aren’t going to make the postseason barring a miracle.

The Vikings didn’t get any help from the refs in their Week 11 loss as there were some missed and questionable calls that went against the purple and gold. While those were unfortunate circumstances, these calls were not the reason why Minnesota lost to the Cowboys.

The defense Vikings couldn’t stop the run and they couldn’t generate any sort of pressure on Dallas quarterback Andy Dalton. Minnesota’s offense did their part, putting 28 points on the board, but the defense completely let the team down once again.

This has been the story of the 2020 Vikings and it’s something that is likely going to drive this team to a losing record this season.
