Minnesota Vikings Best and Worst: Week 12 vs. Carolina Panthers

The Best
It was hard to get too excited about this game. Minnesota only put up 10 points heading into halftime and then found themselves in a big hole after two Vikings fumbles were returned for touchdowns by Carolina’s Jeremy Chinn.
The offense got within one score after a field goal and the team had an opportunity to take the lead back from Carolina with 1:51 left in the game. Minnesota’s two-minute drill would be put to the test.
Kirk Cousins made the challenge look easy. The Vikings quarterback connected on five of his six passes on that drive, moving the ball 75 yards in just 1:05 and connecting with Chad Beebe for the touchdown to tie the game.
During the drive, Cousins found Justin Jefferson, Chad Beebe, and Kyle Rudolph, making it difficult for defenders to hone in on one player in particular. This drive energized fans who were deflated after seeing the turnovers nearly let this game slip away.
