Dakota Dozier‘s inclusion on this list is much like Shamar Stephen’s. He wasn’t the only one to blame for the Vikings’ lack of an effective running attack on Sunday, but he’s the one who is going to get spotlighted.

Minnesota was simply outmatched from a physical standpoint by the Panthers defensive line and Dozier, like many of his cohorts, was pushed around with ease.

Carolina’s defensive front came out extremely aggressive and they imposed their will on the Vikings blockers. Dalvin Cook didn’t have much of a chance as there was usually a man in a white shirt on top of him after he received the handoff from Kirk Cousins.

Minnesota’s pass protection wasn’t much better either as there were plenty of times when Cousins had to do his best Russell Wilson impersonation and create extra time with his legs.

Dozier did have a couple of blunders like when he got mixed up on a blitz protection that led to a sack of Cousins and when he stepped on the quarterback’s foot causing him to fall and nearly kill a Vikings drive. D

Dozier has been decent for Minnesota this season. But his recent play hasn’t been up to par and he’s got to improve from these disappointing performances.
