Offensive MVP

Kirk Cousins – QB

There is no denying that Kirk Cousins has been on an absolute roll since the Vikings’ bye week and the quarterback’s play is a big reason for the team’s turnaround after a disastrous start to the 2020 NFL season.

Cousins has been getting comfortable with his new receivers and offensive line configurations while dealing with a makeshift blocking unit in front of him. Despite those struggles, he has been smart and accurate with the football this season.

This was another big outing from Cousins as he connected on 34 of his 45 pass attempts for 307 yards and three touchdowns against Carolina after Minnesota found itself in a hole following a terrible start to the third quarter.

If any other evidence was needed for Cousins to get the Offensive MVP award this week, just go back and watch his final drive to give the Vikings the lead. He was on point with his passes and he controlled the time clock extremely well, as a true pro will do.
