Dalvin Cook – RB

Dalvin Cook has taken the NFL by storm this season. The Minnesota Vikings gave the running back a lucrative extension shortly before competitive action got underway and it already looks like money well spent.

The former Florida State standout currently leads the league in all-purpose yards despite missing one game through injury. Cook has shoulder plenty of the load during Minnesota’s recent turnaround and although he is dealing with a neck problem after a big hit against the Panthers that resulted in a fumble, the Pro Bowler isn’t expected to miss much time.

One thing is for certain, if Cook does miss any time down the stretch, then the Vikings can kiss their playoff hopes goodbye.

Whether they make the postseason or not, Cook is going to be a focal point of their offense for years to come barring any significant setbacks. The running back position tends to get undervalued by teams in the NFL, but players of his ability simply don’t come around every day.

Cook can hurt you in so many different ways, it hardly seems fair. There is a real chance he claims his first rushing title in 2020 and the fact both he and Derrick Henry are so far ahead of the pack is further proof of just how well he is playing.
