Game 1:

Minnesota Vikings at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Game Time: Sunday, 12:00 pm CT (FOX)
  • Who Needs to Win: Vikings

Let’s be honest with ourselves. Most fans of the Vikings will be tuning in to watch this game anyway because they are devoted to the purple and gold and they are interested to see if the team can get another win.

Minnesota getting a victory in this contest is very important. Of course, it would give them their first winning record of the 2020 season, but it would also really hurt the Buccaneers’ chances of taking a playoff spot away from Minnesota.

With a 7-5 record coming into Week 14, Tampa Bay currently sits in the sixth seed of the NFC playoff picture. Beating them could allow the Vikings to improve their spot in the standings and possibly create more space between them and the teams below them at the same time.

A Minnesota loss in Week 14 would greatly damage any chance of them earning a postseason berth. Hopefully, the purple and gold come to play against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon.
