How will the final three weeks turn out for the Minnesota Vikings?

As disappointing as it is that the Minnesota Vikings are currently sitting with a 6-7 record, few thought that winning six games was even possible after starting the season with losses in five of their first six matchups.

Despite currently having a record under .500, the Vikings are still in the hunt for an NFC playoff spot. Due to their loss last week though, Minnesota is a game behind the Arizona Cardinals for the No. 7 spot in the NFC postseason standings.

The Vikings don’t necessarily have to win each of their remaining three games this year to qualify for the playoffs, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt their chances. By finishing the season with three-straight victories, Minnesota probably wouldn’t have to rely as much on other teams to help them get into the postseason.

During the final three games on their schedule, the Vikings will be playing two teams that currently have a losing record (Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions). But neither of these two matchups will be easy for Minnesota to come away with a win.

The Vikings must perform at the top of their game for the next three weeks if they want to keep their chances of getting into the playoffs alive. When looking at Minnesota’s last three matchups of the season, how might these turn out for the purple and gold?
