5 things to know about the Vikings and Bears for Week 15

Quietly, Cook leads the NFL in yards from scrimmage
Tennessee Titans halfback Derrick Henry tends to get the national fanfare for “best running back in the NFL.” Of course, that is relatively reasonable because he will probably win the league’s rushing yard crown for the second year in a row. But the gap — if any — between Dalvin Cook and Henry is razor-thin.
Cook missed one game due to injury this season and still bests Henry in total yards from scrimmage (1674). Henry trails by Cook by 33 yards. Additionally, Cook has tallied one more touchdown than Henry (15 for Cook, 14 for Henry).
Henry gets the MVP fanfare because his team is in a solid position to reach the playoffs, but Cook has been just as effective as the Minnesota Vikings centerpiece on offense. It should be mentioned, too, that Henry will not actually win the MVP award unless he notches about 200 yards per game in his remaining three games. That honor will bestow Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes.
