The Best
It’s always fun to see a rookie play extremely well against a division opponent and Justin Jefferson did just that, even if it didn’t include him scoring a touchdown against the Chicago Bears during Week 15.
The trust that Kirk Cousins is developing for Jefferson is awesome, as he saw the bulk of the team’s targets find his way. One out of every three of Cousins’ completions on Sunday ended up in the hands of the rookie, an impressive ratio.
Jefferson caught eight passes on the day for a total of 104 yards, the most receiving yardage from any Vikings pass catcher in the game with the next closest in yardage was tight end Tyler Conklin with 57.
Plus, this week saw Justin Jefferson pass Randy Moss to take the franchise record for receptions by a rookie. Previously, Moss had 69 grabs but now Jefferson has the record and two weeks to build on it.
