Adam Thielen – WR

Snub Level: High

When it comes to consistent greatness, it’s hard to look past Adam Thielen. The Vikings receiver is a crisp route-runner with great hands, he has a great work ethic, and he’s worked his way from undrafted free agent to becoming an NFL superstar.

It’s hard to believe that Thielen has only been to two Pro Bowls in his career, with those coming in 2017 and 2018 when the pass-catcher broke the 1,000-yard mark in each of those seasons. However, one could argue that the veteran receiver has enjoyed an even better performance this year.

While he only has 771 yards in his 13 appearances this season, his 13 receiving touchdowns are good for third among all pass-catchers in the NFL behind only Tyreek Hill of the Kansas City Chiefs and Davante Adams of the Green Bay Packers.

How he didn’t end up getting voted into the 2021 Pro Bowl is a mystery. But fans of Minnesota likely aren’t among those who failed to appreciate the role Thielen has taken on for the team this year, especially in the red zone.
