Which members of the Minnesota Vikings were the most disappointing in Week 15?

The Minnesota Vikings were already clinging to very slim playoff hopes prior to their Week 15 game against the Chicago Bears. A win would’ve put the Vikings in a nice spot with two matchups left on their schedule, but the team couldn’t beat the Mitch Trubisky-led Bears offensive attack.

Minnesota’s run defense especially struggled as Chicago running back David Montgomery picked up 4.6 yards a carry on his way to nearly a buck fifty on the ground. The Vikings also couldn’t get any consistent pressure on Trubisky and he had plenty of time to find his open guys down the field.

Offensively, Minnesota was able to put 27 points on the board, but the offensive line was destroyed by Chicago’s front seven. Kirk Cousins was sacked three times and he had little time to survey the field.

The Vikings’ flat performance on Sunday proved they don’t deserve to be in the playoffs and had they made it, they surely would’ve lost their opening matchup. The team was disappointing as a whole against the Bears this week and these Vikings were the worst offenders.
