San Francisco 49ers (5-9) at Arizona Cardinals (8-6)

  • Game Time: Saturday, 3:30 pm CT (Amazon Prime Video)
  • Who Needs to Win: 49ers

If the Vikings do manage to beat the Saints on Friday, Saturday will bring another big game for determining the NFC playoff picture. This one will involve the Cardinals, who need to lose both of their final two games in order for Minnesota to sneak into the postseason.

Sadly, the 49ers haven’t looked very good the last few weeks. San Francisco has lost their last three games by more than a touchdown each as they have been bitten pretty hard by the injury bug this season.

On the other hand, the Cardinals have won back-to-back games against the Giants and Eagles heading into Week 16, and they have seen some great play from their amazing receivers and quarterback Kyler Murray.

While this looks like a lopsided matchup, anything can happen in divisional games. The first meeting between these two teams back in Week 1 was won by the Cardinals, but it was only by a four-point margin. So, there is some hope for an upset to happen on Saturday.

If the Vikings win and Arizona loses, the purple and gold will still have a chance at the playoffs heading into Week 17, and they could get a lot of help if the third game on this list goes their way.
