What are the best and worst from the Minnesota Vikings in Week 16?

The Minnesota Vikings entered Week 16 clinging to a shred of hope that they can sneak back into the playoff picture. The crowded NFC race had the purple and gold with less than a three percent chance of making the postseason, and they would need to win out and get help from other teams to get in.

Minnesota’s opponent in Week 16 was the New Orleans Saints. These two teams share a lot of history, as both teams have enjoyed some epic victories at the expense of the other team in head-to-head matchups.

This game was not nearly as epic. Although it looked like it could have been a shootout early on, the Saints took control of the game and crushed the Vikings and their playoff hopes by a final score of 33-52.

Let’s take a look at some of the great things the Minnesota Vikings did in Week 16 along with some of the absolute worst things that happened on the field against the Saints on Christmas Day.
