T.J. Carter – CB (Memphis)
The Vikings struck gold with cornerback duo Jeff Gladney and Cameron Dantzler in the 2020 NFL Draft. Both players have shown tremendous promise this season and they could be the starting duo at U.S. Bank Stadium for years to come.
What comes next for the rest of the depth chart remains to be seen. Holton Hill is long gone and Mike Hughes might also find himself on the free-agent scrapheap if the Vikings finally decide to cut their losses with the former first-round pick.
T.J. Carter is a high-value pick in this spot. He’s played on an island throughout his time at Memphis and he thrived in man coverage. So adding him to Minnesota’s talented young tandem is an enticing proposition.
Kolby Harvell-Peel – S (Oklahoma State)
Harrison Smith is not getting any younger and this might be the draft where the Vikings decide to select his long-term replacement. Replicating what the safety has given Minnesota throughout his career will be immensely difficult, but Kolby Harvell-Peel has a lot of the same characteristics.

4 Vikings players who could get big-time money in the future
Which Minnesota Vikings players could be set to earn big-time money in the future once the financial problems surrounding the organization are solved?
Harvell-Peel is a physical specimen whose aggressive tackling is a standout feature whenever he’s near the football. Providing that he can get a little more fluid in his movements once he gets to the NFL, then someone is going to have a real player on their hands.
