Which free agents should be a priority for the Minnesota Vikings to re-sign this offseason?

The 2020 NFL season was a tough one for the Minnesota Vikings. The team went through many players over the course of the year, forcing them to sign several guys off of their practice squad, other teams’ rosters, and free agency.

Some of these players shined while others didn’t. However, many of them were inked to one-year deals to finish out the season in hopes of finding a diamond in the rough or a capable player to fill in for the team.

The same goes for players whose contracts have come to an end and will be becoming unrestricted free agents. These individuals will be able to shop their talents and sign with the team of their choosing.

This year, the Vikings have 10 players that are unrestricted free agents, four restricted free agents, and one exclusive rights free agent. Some of those guys will come back to the team for the 2021 season, while others find a new team to call home.

Let’s take a look at which Minnesota players hitting free agency this year need to be a top priority for the team to bring back in a purple and gold jersey.
