Mike Iupati – LG

  • Age: 33
  • 2020 Team: Seattle Seahawks

Finding a new left guard is a top priority for the Vikings this offseason. Minnesota rolled with Dakota Dozier as their starting left guard for the entire 2020 campaign and it resulted in Kirk Cousins tasting the turf far too often.

Mike Iupati is a grizzled NFL veteran that has been a starter in the league since he was a rookie in 2010. In 10 games as starting left guard for the Seahawks this past season, Iupati only allowed one sack.

Derek Wolfe – DL

  • Age: 30
  • 2020 Team: Baltimore Ravens

In 2020, the Vikings defense was definitely lacking in veteran leadership. Their inexperience caused multiple problems for the defense and it ultimately resulted in Minnesota missing the playoffs.

The Vikings will be looking to improve their pass rush this offseason since it was embarrassing in 2020. At the very least, Derek Wolfe can add some depth to Minnesota’s defensive line and use his championship experience to help provide some leadership inside a locker room full of young defenders.
