Maliek Collins – DT
- Age: 25
- 2020 Team: Las Vegas Raiders
After developing into a solid interior pass rusher in four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, Maliek Collins saw his production take a step backward in 2020 as a member of the Raiders. Collins averaged over 3.5 sacks per year during his time with the Cowboys and in 2020, he didn’t register a single sack.
If there is anyone that can get Collins back on track, it’s Vikings co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach, Andre Patterson. With Patterson leading the way, Minnesota can bring in a guy like Collins to potentially develop into their starting three-technique for the 2021 season.
Nickell Robey-Coleman – CB
- Age: 29
- 2020 Team: Philadelphia Eagles
For those who might not be familiar with Nickell Robey-Coleman, he’s the guy who committed the no-call pass interference penalty in the 2019 NFC Championship to help send the New Orleans Saints home packing.
So, right away, Robey-Coleman already has a soft spot in the hearts of Vikings fans, but he can also be someone who could help out the team as a member of their defense. He struggled a bit in 2020 with the Eagles. But before that, he was viewed as one of the top slot corners in the league.

8 players who should be on the Vikings free agency wish list for 2021
If the salary cap was not a factor, Which free agents in 2021 would be amazing additions to the Minnesota Vikings roster?
With there being some uncertainty about Mike Hughes’ future with the Vikings, it wouldn’t be a terrible idea for the team to bring in a veteran corner like Robey-Coleman.
