5 times former Minnesota Vikings players shined in movies or TV

Cris Carter
Cris Carter is no stranger to a camera. The former Vikings receiver has been an analyst for many different sports broadcasting stations as well as the host of his own sports talk shows on his way to becoming a controversial voice in sports circles.
With only two credits to his acting resume, it’s easy to note that both of those gigs were performances where he played himself. However, the fact the two appearances were 22 years apart is interesting.
At the time, Living Single was a bit of a groundbreaking show. It was a great blend of comedy and drama that ran for five seasons and featured up and coming superstars like Queen Latifah, Kim Coles, T.C. Carson, and others.
Carter was a part of episode 312 titled “The Following Is a Sponsored Program” which also included the music group TLC, Ron Canada, and Steven Banks. The Vikings all-time leader in receiving yards advertises a Dashboard Hotplate on an informercial in the cheesiest way possible…and it’s fantastic.
Notable roles:
- Living Single (1995) – self
- Ballers (2017) – self
