4 teams that might trade for Kyle Rudolph in the 2021 offseason

New England Patriots
There have been rumors of the Patriots having interest in acquiring Kyle Rudolph for a while now. Nothing too recent, but back during the 2019 offseason, New England and Minnesota reportedly had some discussions about a deal that included Rudolph.
Obviously, the Vikings didn’t end up trading the veteran tight end to the Patriots in 2019. But New England’s interest in adding Rudolph to their roster might currently still exist. Especially since the Patriots tight ends were terrible this past season.
In the 2020 campaign, New England’s tight ends hauled in a total of just 18 catches. Even though he had a down year in 2020, Rudolph still managed to finish his season with 10 more receptions than all of the Patriots tight ends combined.
Like the Broncos, New England could use some help when it comes to improving their efficiency in the red zone (24th in 2020). Rudolph is a guy who has proven to be a great red-zone weapon in the past and if the Patriots end up acquiring him, he would be a tremendous upgrade over any tight ends who will be on their 2021 roster.
