Rashod Hill

Rashod Hill seems to be a free agent every year and every time, he re-signs with the Vikings. He’s definitely a favorite to return to the team again for a couple of reasons.

First of all, he’s familiar with Minnesota’s current offensive system and the team is familiar with him. He has battled with their current group of offensive linemen for the last five seasons and he has formed solid friendships with his fellow players and coaches.

Hills probably won’t be looking to leave unless he’s offered a starting-level contract from another team, which seems very unlikely to happen.

The other factor that should keep Hill in purple next season is that he usually plays well when given the chance and he has shown the ability to hold his own when thrown into a game.

He has also proved to be a versatile player being able to fill in at either tackle spot if the situation calls for it. There should be mutual interest from both parties to keep Hill’s career in Minnesota moving forward.

Hill isn’t the perfect backup and the team could look to upgrade this year, as it seems like he tends to struggle when he is forced to start a large stretch of games. Luckily, the Vikings’ tackles have proven very durable over the last couple of years and Hill could be brought back as that solid short-term fill-in option.
