Andre Roberts

Andre Roberts is the old man on this list, but the guy is still a dangerous and feared return man. Roberts just finished his 10th season in the league playing for his sixth team. He has bounced around, but he is still one of the better returners in the NFL.

Roberts averaged 9.9 yards per punt return last season and 30 yards per kick return. He still possesses high-end speed and he runs with violence as he seems to almost enjoy bouncing off of tackles. Roberts will fight and scrap for extra yardage, his intensity is infectious, and this carries over to the offense when they take the field after one of his returns.

Roberts wouldn’t add much to Minnesota other than his return skills. His days of being a productive receiver in the NFL appear to be over as he has caught just 33 passes over the last four seasons.

He could still be the fifth or sixth option on the team and be a veteran emergency replacement on the depth chart. If the Vikings become Roberts’ seventh NFL club, they’ll be getting the best and most dangerous return man they’ve had since the days of Cordarrelle Patterson.
