Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are a perennial contender and one area of their team they always seem weak at is the tight end position.

There have been some rumblings about the team possibly trading Russell Wilson, but they’d be better off trying to make another run with what they have and bring in a new weapon for their quarterback in Kyle Rudolph.

Rudolph would be huge for Wilson in the red zone. He has shown an innate ability to go up and high point a ball where corners and safeties just can’t reach it. Wilson wouldn’t even have to scramble for his life, he could just drop back and lob that thing up and let Rudolph go out and make a play.

This would also be an attractive scenario for Rudolph. He’d be going to a team that is always in the playoff mix and he would get to play with an all-time great quarterback in Wilson. He’d also be joining an offense that has weapons like DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, so there should be plenty of opportunities to go one-on-one against an opposing corner or safety.

Rudolph is in the twilight of his career, but it could be beneficial for both him and Seattle if he joined their squad for a few seasons, becoming the newest part of the Vikings-Seahawks pipeline.
