2020 Team: Las Vegas Raiders

Well, it’s the offseason. So we know that means that it’s time for the Vikings to pretend they’re improving their offensive line before the unit ultimately becomes a disappointment during the 2021 campaign.

Fixing the offensive line is becoming a bit of a running joke for Minnesota. It seems like it doesn’t matter how many blockers the Vikings draft or sign, the unit typically ends up being underwhelming once the season starts.

That being said, Minnesota should still continue to add a few new players to their offensive line depth chart this year. Most of these new additions will probably have to come from the draft, but the Vikings could also add some blockers from free agency.

Gabe Jackson was recently shown the door by the Las Vegas Raiders, so now he’s in need of a new team for next season. Jackson had been with the Raiders since 2014 and during his tenure with them, he had multiple starts at both left guard and right guard.

Last season, he appeared in all 16 games for Las Vegas and he didn’t give up a single sack. Depending on how much money he’s looking for, meeting with Jackson about a potential deal is something Minnesota should think about this year.
