Versatility is something Mike Zimmer likes when it comes to the defensive lineman on the Vikings roster. Having the ability to shuffle guys around from the inside to the outside really adds a whole different dimension to what Zimmer is able to do with his defense.

If Minnesota would like to add a veteran defensive lineman who has displayed some of this versatility in his NFL career, Henry Anderson wouldn’t be a terrible candidate to consider.

Measuring in at 6-foot-6 and 301 pounds, Anderson has the size to line up as a defensive tackle or a defensive end. He’s not a guy who’s going to get you a lot of sacks (just 1.5 in last two seasons), but he has been a solid run defender since he entered the league back in 2015.

Anderson is someone who the Vikings could bring in to potentially be a part of their starting defensive line or they could use him more in a situational type of role.
