6 QBs that only lasted one season with the Minnesota Vikings

Donovan McNabb – 2011
There is a lot of debate around the NFL fandom as to whether or not Donovan McNabb should be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. However, if you factor in any part of his time with the Minnesota Vikings, odds are that he won’t get a lot of love.
Minnesota planned to have McNabb be the team’s quarterback while Christian Ponder learned and developed behind him. Sadly, things didn’t quite go as planned and the Eagles legend only lasted six games as a Vikings starter.
McNabb’s time in Minnesota started off on a very sour note. His first pass in purple and gold was intercepted and his debut saw him complete only seven passes against the Chargers for 39 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
Much like some of the other passers on this list, the fact that there was I quarterback competition between these passers is kind of hilarious or depressing depending on your outlook. But you should hit that NEXT button and forget about McNabb as soon as possible.
