2020 Team: Chicago Bears

Do the Vikings want to get a good kicker that could weaken a division rival? Then Santos could be their guy.

Santos went into the Windy City and had the best season of his career in 2020, knocking down 30-of-32 field goals and 36-of-37 extra points. With a career-high 93.8 percent field goal conversion rate, there’s a chance Minnesota could sign a kicker that’s beginning to figure it out.

But Santos’ track record could indicate fool’s gold. Before his breakout season in Chicago, Santos converted 80.6 percent of his field goals. That was emphasized by a 4-for-9 performance with the Titans, which saw him sit on the free-agent market for the final nine games of the 2019 regular season.

With the Vikings already having a kicker on the roster, it’s unlikely they would bring Santos in just to mess with the Bears. But if Minnesota wants competition, Santos’ experience could provide one.
