Fourth Round (Pick No. 143) – Adrian Ealy, OT – Oklahoma

The Vikings taking three offensive linemen in the first seven picks of the 2021 NFL Draft? It could be an absolute possibility with several of the other positions on the team having solid depth and cemented starters in place.

Adrian Ealy was the right tackle for the Sooners who showed the potential to be successful at the NFL level. Good footwork puts him in the right position to make blocks and he executes those blocks with authority, powering through defenders in his path.

Ealy offers a nice pass blocking anchor as well, making it hard for rushers to get through him. However, he needs to continue working on having a lower center of gravity to win one-on-one battles on a more regular basis.

Brian O’Neill is likely to be the starting right tackle this season, but that would let Ealy be a swing tackle and develop under the Vikings coaching staff. With some minor tweaks to his game, he could be an absolute steal in the mid-rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft.
