The Minnesota Vikings have a great wide receiver duo entering the 2021 NFL season but who will be immediately below them on the team’s depth chart?

Free agency has seen the Minnesota Vikings make a number of transactions to help make the team more competitive for the 2021 NFL season. However, one area they have yet to address is the wide receivers, a place that is in need of an upgrade in a major way.

Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson are an excellent one-two punch for starters, but past them, the depth drops off in a major way. Adding some depth to the position should be a priority for the rest of the offseason, and that includes finding a third wide receiver for the depth chart.

The roster shows Olabisi Johnson, Chad Beebe, K.J. Osborn, and Dan Chisena as the other wide receivers, but none of them should be on the field before tight end Irv Smith Jr. or Tyler Conklin. And an injury to either starter could put the Minnesota offense behind the ball this season.

Three places the Minnesota Vikings can find their third wide receiver is either by looking on their -current roster, signing a player out of free agency, or selecting a high-potential prospect in the draft.

Here are six potential players the purple and gold could have as their WR3 heading into the 2021 NFL season.
