What are some bold predictions for the Minnesota Vikings during a hugely important 2021 NFL Draft for the team?

The Minnesota Vikings have some fine-tuning to do across their roster during the 2021 NFL Draft if they want to be realistically considered as legitimate postseason challengers next season.

The Vikings are coming off the back of a 7-9 campaign that would have looked far more concerning had they not turned things around after the bye week, so even though some big names were brought in via free agency, much more will be needed.

This is something the Vikings’ front office is all-too-aware of. The likes of head coach Mike Zimmer and general manager Rick Spielman know exactly what’s at stake for their respective futures, and if things continue trending on a downward curve, it could start a chain of events leading to big changes.

Getting their next batch of college recruits right will stand them in good stead. Minnesota is getting some big names like Danielle Hunter and Michael Pierce back into the lineup, with signings such as Patrick Peterson, Dalvin Tomlinson, and Mackensie Alexander sure to improve things on the defensive side of the ball.

However, there are some clear holes that need to be filled with young, hungry prospects over the vital draft weekend. If the Vikings can do this, then a strong push for the playoffs won’t be far behind.

With this in mind, here are four bold predictions where Minnesota is concerned during the 2021 NFL Draft.
