How will the second day of the 2021 NFL Draft turn out for the Minnesota Vikings?

Heading into the 2021 NFL Draft, we knew there was going to be a chance that the Minnesota Vikings would make a trade with their first-round selection.

We just didn’t know if the Vikings were going to use their pick in the first round to move up in the draft or if they were going to give the selection to another team and move down the order.

Well, Minnesota ended up trading back in the first round after agreeing to a deal with the New York Jets. In exchange for the No. 14 pick in the first round and another selection in the fourth round, the Vikings received the No. 23 pick in the first round and two third-round picks from the Jets.

Minnesota then went on to use their new first-round selection on former Virginia Tech offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw, someone who didn’t allow a single sack last season.

So after the first 32 picks of the 2021 draft, the Vikings were able to add a young left tackle in Darrisaw who could be ready to start in Week 1 next season, and they also grabbed two additional selections in the third round.

Heading into Day 2 of the draft on Friday, Minnesota currently has a total of four picks, and they’re all in the third round.

How will the Vikings end up using these selections? This is something we will all have to wait and find out, but let’s see if we can predict a few things that might happen for Minnesota on Friday during the 2021 draft.
