Kalif Raymond – WR (Detroit Lions)

Kalif Raymond isn’t exactly a household name, but he’s someone who caused a bunch of problems for the Vikings last season when he was a member of the Tennessee Titans.

During Minnesota’s Week 3 loss to the Titans last year, Raymond and his 4.34 speed hauled in three passes for a total of 118 yards, including one reception that resulted in a 61-yard gain.

In addition to his ability to get behind the defense, Raymond is also a talented returner. In 2020, he averaged nine yards per punt return, and he’s averaged 8.3 yards per punt return during his career in the NFL.

Defending the pass and return coverage were two of the Vikings’ significant weaknesses last season. If Minnesota can’t get these two things fixed before they take on the Detroit Lions in 2021, then Raymond could end up burning them for the second year in a row.
