Which Minnesota Vikings players now find themselves on the roster bubble ahead of OTAs and training camp?

It didn’t come as a surprise to anybody that the Minnesota Vikings were extremely active during the offseason. Missing the playoffs and performing so disappointingly on the defensive side of the ball last season had led to some big personnel changes both in free agency and the 2021 NFL Draft, which should hopefully come with a turnaround in fortunes next time around.

Considering how much Minnesota was initially up against the wall from a salary-cap perspective this offseason, they’ve done a remarkable job of strengthening problem areas and bringing in the right blend of youth and experience that should put them in a strong position to make an instant playoff return.

Much will depend on how the new additions fit into unfamiliar surroundings. The Vikings should have a more structured preparation period this summer with COVID-19 restrictions being lifted, so it’s essential that this time is used in a positive manner.

There will also be current members of Minnesota’s roster nervously looking over their shoulders with extra competition for places. So who are a few Vikings players that might be on the roster bubble heading into this year’s OTAs?
